Rebecca's daughter Crystaline Lopez gave the keynote address for the October Monthly Retired Officers' Wives' Club of Austin Luncheon in Austin, Texas. Crystaline shared the Lost Girl story from a daughters perspective and encouraged the group of women to always see the hope-filled potential in the younger generations. Founded in 1965, the Retired Officers’ Wives’ Club (ROWC) is a nonprofit organization of retired military wives and retired female officers. The purpose of the ROWC of Austin is to foster camaraderie, enhance the quality of life for members, provide a support system, create a sense of unity, promote a sense of community spirit and to contribute to community charitable requests. Luncheons are held the 4th Friday of each month from September through May at the Balcones Country Club in North Austin.
