Governor's Small Business Summit, Bastrop TX, June 2025

On June 26th, Rebecca attended the 2025 Governor’s Small Business Summit in Bastrop, an inspiring gathering dedicated to celebrating and supporting entrepreneurs across Texas. Hosted by the Bastrop Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Office of the Governor, Texas Economic Development & Tourism, the event brought together small business owners, community leaders, and civic partners for a full day of dialogue on economic priorities, community growth, and the opportunities shaping the region’s future. Rebecca appreciated the chance to connect with fellow leaders, exchange insights, and stay engaged in the conversations driving innovation and strengthening the heartbeat of Texas business.

“Texas is the economic blueprint for small business success,” and it’s easy to see why. Small businesses generate more than $8.2 billion in revenue, make up 99% of all businesses in Texas, and lead the nation as the #1 exporting industry, with 92% of all exporting driven by small business owners.
