Rebecca Contreras, AvantGarde CEO recently attended and sponsored the annual gala for We are Not Broken. We are Not Broken has an incredible mission "to tell the beautiful scar stories of women & girls."
AvantGarde is once again proud to be a sponsor of We are Not Broken non-profit and support their vision of empowering women in such a beautiful way.
"We Are Not Broken" is a non-profit organization that is turning trauma into triumph. They exist to empower every women and girl to stand up and boldly share their scar stories. To capture the raw images of what true beauty and strength look like, in a world that has accepted the word broken as a tool to label those who have endured pain, suffering and loss.
Every woman or girl that submits their story to this amazing organization will be contacted to come into the studio to share their scar stories. They provide hair and makeup, a professional photographer and videographer that will capture the scar story for the recipient to keep forever.
