Rebecca Contreras Named Finalist for 2026 Latina Legacy Luncheon Recognition

Rebecca Contreras, President & CEO of AvantGarde LLC and Founder of Girls of Legacy, has been named a finalist for the 2026 Latina Legacy Luncheon, presented by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation. The annual event recognizes Latina leaders across Central Texas whose work has made a meaningful impact in their industries and communities.

Rebecca was selected as a finalist in recognition of her leadership in workforce development, entrepreneurship, and community impact. Through AvantGarde LLC and Girls of Legacy, she has led initiatives focused on developing future leaders, expanding career opportunities, and investing in the next generation of young women through mentorship and education.

Hosted annually by the Greater Austin Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the Latina Legacy Luncheon celebrates outstanding Latina leaders across multiple impact areas, including education, technology, civic engagement, financial stability, health and wellness, environmental initiatives, and arts and culture. The event also supports the Hispanic Austin Leadership (HAL) program, which has developed leaders throughout Central Texas for more than 25 years.

The 2026 Latina Legacy Luncheon will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at the Austin Central Library Special Events Center in Austin, Texas, where finalists and award recipients will be recognized.
